As the school year has ended, folks are traveling more, and the summer fun has begun, things are keeping us busy at South Park Senior Center as well!
Our Culture Focus programming has been such a great success –we are grateful for the wonderful and supportive feedback received from our Seniors, and we are delighted to have our discovery of other countries, cuisines, and cultures, so appreciated! As you read further, you’ll see “just where in the world” we have been over the past two months, how much we have learned and experienced, and how closely we have grown through our common bonds and similar experiences.
And some wonderful news to share—after having our beautiful new passenger van stolen in May, it has been safely returned to us (after a month in the shop being repaired!), and thankfully has been returned to full service as we keep our Seniors on the go and having fun!
We have plans for field trips and outdoor activities throughout the summer. Enjoy our warm weather and be happy and well.
