Aurora joined SPSC in May 2024 as Charles Bontemps moved on to join the team at our partner, GenPride. Aurora has hit the ground running as we prepare for a very busy summer—she is a wonderful addition to our team and lives the values of our Center!
Aurora was born and raised in Southern California, and moved to Seattle nearly two years ago in search of new scenery and new adventures. Shortly after her move, she started her professional career honing her skills in event planning. Her experience coordinating events, enthusiasm for engaging with diverse sets of community members, and passion for championing diversity, equity, and inclusion secured her the role of Engagement and Programs Coordinator at SPSC.
Aurora is most excited about forming meaningful bonds with the SPSC seniors, as well as utilizing programs and events as catalysts for wide scale community well-being. Her greatest hope in her new position is that she can support seniors in living their most healthy, happy lives while continuing to broaden their horizons.
